While many couples are able to successfully resolve their separation through mediation, it is important that each person has the opportunity to obtain Independent Legal Advice (ILA) before signing a final Separation Agreement. At Clear Path Separation and Divorce Mediation Corp., we maintain a trusted
referral network of experienced Alberta family law lawyers who can review your agreement, explain your rights and obligations, and ensure the document is fair and legally sound.

If requested, we can provide referrals to licensed Alberta lawyers who are familiar with mediation-based agreements and offer efficient reviews for Independent Legal Advice. This allows you to finalize your agreement with greater confidence while avoiding the high costs and stress of traditional litigation.

Clear Path does not provide legal advice and does not receive referral fees. Our role is to support a respectful, efficient mediation process and connect you with appropriate legal resources when needed.
